Canvas Work Workshop

What a busy day we had yesterday!  Following last month's talk we had a canvas work workshop. Thanks go to branch member Chris who lead the workshop and who brought lots of examples of her work using this technique. Susie brought some kits for making a canvas work needle case in plastic canvas and there were also materials for making a scissor keeper. For those wanting something a bit bigger there was canvas of different sizes and plenty of threads to dig into to create our own patterns.
Travelling books were swapped - much excitement again!
We had a short talk from Lizzie Dawson the Community Development Officer from Craven Museum - more on that later!
It was lovely to welcome some new members to the branch too.
