January mini workshops

It was lovely to see everyone again and catch up after the Christmas break.
We had a very enjoyable morning with some mini workshops lead by branch members - Rolling landscapes, shaving foam marbling, woollen pictures and needle-felted flowers; thanks to everyone for their efforts.
We had another delicious Jacobs Join lunch - always fabulous!
In the afternoon launched the travelling books project, thanks to Sue for co-ordinating it and Claire for sorting the groups and getting the sketchbooks etc together. We are looking forward to seeing the first round next month. There was also a session on how to develop sketchbooks for those who haven't really worked with them or wanted some new ideas. A very busy but productive day.
